Dog Collar Size Guide
Instructions for choosing the right size: Our collars are based on actual neck size, not collar length. When choosing the size of the collar, measure the neck size with cloth measuring tape. If you don't have it, use a string and then measure it with a ruler. When measuring, do not let two fingers in between, but measure the exact circumference of the neck. Once you have measured the circumference of your dogs neck, choose a collar size that fits the middle. Example: if you have measured the circumference the neck 49cm, choose size XL: 45-55cm. If you are still not shure when choosing a size, please give us a call or contact us, and we will find the right size for your dog.
- If there is no suitable size in the table or if you would like a customized dog collar, we are available for any adjustment.
- If you are not shure, which size to choose, please give us a ring or send us E-mail.
Are you ordering a K9 collar?
When ordering your K9 collar, please consider the following guidelines when selecting the appropriate size. It's important to note that K9 collars are adjustable, which makes them versatile and suitable for dogs of different sizes.
If the collar does not have any accessory (embroidery or additional handle), then the collar is adjustable by almost 20 cm. So, even if your dog has a neck circumference of 40 cm and you choose an XL collar (45-55 cm), it will be fine. Such a collar actually accompanies the dog from a puppy (6 months old) all the way to adulthood.
However, if the collar has an additional name embroidery or an additional handle, then this regulation of the collar is not so flexible, and is actually adjustable by 10 cm. In such cases, it's important to measure your dog's neck circumference accurately to ensure the perfect fit.
When selecting the size of the collar, always try to choose the middle size option. This allows for more adjustability in case of weight fluctuations or growth spurts.
Are you ordering a CLASSIC collar?
Classic collars are simple yet elegant, and they increase or decrease according to the holes. Each collar has five holes, with a difference of 2.5 cm between them. So, it's a total of 10 cm difference in size. When choosing a classic collar, always choose a size where your measured size falls in the center hole. This will ensure the perfect fit and maximum adjustability.
Choosing the right size collar for your dog is crucial to their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. By following the guidelines provided in this size guide, pet owners can make informed decisions and find the perfect fit for their canine companion. Always remember to measure your dog's neck circumference accurately and choose the middle size option for K9 collars and the center hole for classic collars. With the right size collar, you can ensure that your furry friend is safe, secure, and stylish!

More information about SLIP LEAD:
A slip lead, also known as a training leash or transitional leash, can be a great tool for dog training and calming walks with your dog. It is a simple design that loops around the dog’s neck and tightens when the leash is pulled, providing gentle pressure to communicate with your dog.
One advantage of using a slip lead is that it allows for quick and easy correction of unwanted behavior. For example, if your dog pulls on the leash or tries to run after something, a quick tug on the leash can provide an immediate correction and redirect your dog’s attention back to you. This can be particularly helpful during training sessions when you need to communicate with your dog in a clear and consistent way.
Another benefit of the slip lead is that it can promote calmness and relaxation during walks. Unlike traditional collars or harnesses that can restrict movement and create tension, a slip lead allows your dog to move more freely and naturally. This can help your dog feel more comfortable and relaxed, which can in turn make your walks more enjoyable and stress-free.
Overall, while the slip lead may not be the best option for every dog or every situation, it can be a useful tool for training and walking your dog calmly and safely. As with any training tool, it’s important to use the slip lead responsibly and under the guidance of a professional trainer if needed.
