WHO AM I
My name is Nina and together with my partner, are breeding American Staffordshire Terrier. Our passion for these dogs has led us to establish a Double Trouble Ast kennel that not only produces top-quality pups, but also offers a brand of quality dog equipment under the same name - Double Trouble.
With 8 American Staffords in our home, we have gained extensive knowledge on the breed's unique needs and characteristics. This has allowed us to create equipment that meets the highest standards of functionality, durability, and style for the strongest breeds.
In addition to our breeding program and shop, I lead a busy life full of various activities.
YOU HAVE TO EMBRASE THIS LIFESTYLE
I am a mother to a young girl named Pia, and I believe that raising children alongside dogs fosters important life skills such as compassion, responsibility, and companionship.
I am deeply passionate about dog training and search and rescue work. I began my search and rescue journey with my soulmate, Hulk, who is sadly no longer with us. The bond we built while working together in high-stress situations and helping to save lives was truly extraordinary. Today, I continue his mission with my second male, Joker, carrying forward the same dedication, loyalty, and purpose.
I also have a growing passion for dog photography and continuously work on refining my skills in this creative field.
In addition, I work in advertising and marketing. My experience in the industry has equipped me with strategic thinking, creativity, and attention to detail — qualities that I proudly bring to my work at Double Trouble.
Last but not least, I am the proud owner of eight beautiful dogs who keep me busy every single day. And in the evenings, when everything is finally done, it’s time for me and my sewing machine — where new ideas come to life.
VISION AND MISSION
Our goal was to offer products for owners that want more, and for dogs that deserve better. Our products are designed for working dogs and for everyday use, in all seasons and are made with the highest quality materials and attention to craftsmanship. We also offer the option for personalization, including embroidery with a dog's name or other phrase, to make each product truly unique.
Our collars and leashes are designed to be not only stylish but also durable and long-lasting, ensuring that your dog stays safe and secure while looking great. Additionally, we offer a range of durable dog toys, dog wear, and other equipment that cater to all of dogs and it's owners needs.
At Double Trouble, we understand that every dog is unique, which is why we strive to provide a wide range of options to fit your dog's individual needs and personality.

Double Trouble Family is very big. Some of them have bigger rolles, some of them are just a pain in the neck. But they are all a part of our family.
Aska
The sweetest and happiest dog, champion and show female. She brightens my day with her positive charisma.
Hulk
He was the “high achiever” of the family and the reason I began Search and Rescue. He was my soulmate — and he will always have the most important role in my life.
Exa
My first Amstaff girl, my first love. A typical representative of her breed. Very stable girl that loves to play.
GPower
He is the youngest model, without experiences but he is learning very quick.
Joker
Still very young boy that keeps my days intersting. He has the most infectious warm and positive energy.
Jackpot
Joker's sister, so she had to have the same role in the family. She is very playfull and affectionate girl.
Cookie
She is my energy bomb, always ready for action. If I need a power shoot, she is the girl for the job.
Boss
A strong mail with gentle character. He is a show dog, but also the best companion for long walks.
Keris
A young male who brings fresh energy and constant inspiration — pushing me to create, evolve, and keep things new.
Online shop
Because we want to give our dogs and the dogs we breed the best possible quality of life, we have set up our own online dog shop in 2020. Our aim is to offer equipment to satisfy even the strongest dogs and the most demanding owners. We started our shop with PlayDog's highly durable dog toys, made of strong eco-rubber. We have also tested this toys on our dogs and were surprised by the results. That's why we now play with only PlayDog toys. In addition to the other accessories available in the shop, a year later we developed our Double Trouble collection of dog collars and leads, of which we are extremely proud. The focus has been on safety and durability, as well as on appearance. And we are constantly evolving and launching new, even better products. Our goal is not only to make Slovenian owners happy, but also to expand our Double Trouble market abroad.
